Here is a sneak peak at some of the movement patterns we are using in the first week of his strength and conditioning program at the Top Shop.
Various upper-body accessory movements board presses, chain floor presses, dumbbell incline presses, axle bar close grip incline presses, neutral grip chins, farmers walks, pushups, hanging leg raises, fat v-bar triceps push downs, strict military presses, cannon ball face pulls, single arm dumbbell rows, land mine rows. Contrast-Speed Work: Here is a good look at one of the various types of speed training we do at the Top Shop. The Athletes in the video range from baseball, football, basketball, track and softball players. What we are doing here is: a 10 yard prowler sled sprint with a loaded 160 pound sled. a 15 second rest to set up into a "positional sprint" (base stealing position, 40 start position, running back position) a 10 yard all out sprint start working on using less strides. Speed training involves manipulation of the human anatomy and solid understanding of each athletes sport. Thats what we do here at the Top Shop. See you in...
